My passion in life, and how it connects to the theme of "The Power of Love and Compassion in Governance":

I am passionate about inspiring, healing, liberating and empowering others, through teaching, facilitation and coaching, singing, writing and speaking, to encourage others to be the greatest they can be and to contribute – them and myself, all in our unique and wonderful ways - to the Flourishing of Humankind and all of Life on Planet Earth.

I support purpose-centered leaders, teams and organisations to better serve, contribute and make a difference in the world, by helping them with transforming their leadership, team work, engagement of talent and change-ability. I work with purposeful organisations that want to make the world a better place, and want more clarity on their way forward; higher engagement and commitment from their people; and greater effectiveness, impact and sustainability.

I am an inspirational trainer and facilitator, speaker and coach, based in Lilongwe, Malawi, representing Primeast in the Southern Africa region, as its Head serving the Change Agents and Social Entrepreneurs Sector. His workshops and keynotes are highly engaging and inspirational, and spiced up with his singing and guitar.

The Greater Life Coaching practice I am using is rooted in consciousness coaching, and focuses on adopting courage, authenticity, presence, integrity, trust, action and love as a Way of Life. I am passionate about supporting people in finding their life calling and overcoming whatever is standing in their way, and inspiring, liberating and empowering them to create, live and enjoy greater lives.

Before my current work as facilitator, trainer and coach, I had 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, having worked with the United Nations (UNHCR & UNHCHR), European Commission, Belgian Government (Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless People) and NGOs (OCIV & Global Witness), in the areas of refugee protection, human rights, environmental advocacy and development cooperation, in Belgium, Turkey, Cambodia, Burma, Indonesia, East Timor and, currently still, Malawi. I am married with  Sabine, since nearly 20 years, and has three children.

Personal Quote

"We cannot truly care for others, and see them for who they truly are, if we have not first learnt to love ourselves, all of us, our strengths and weaknesses, our shine and our scars.”
- Christophe B. Horvath

“Emancipate yourself from mental slavery.
- Bob Marley (Redemption Song)
