Love should fill humans’ hearts, peace should spread worldwide, and barriers should fall down. Humankind should realize their oneness. Men and women are one; human race comes from one origin, we as humans share one human history. From one origin, we came and to the One, we will all return. The Human Foundation is an institution which brings people together to work for the betterment of our world.
We believe that when we come together, we will form a great symphony of love that embraces humanity, and support everyone to live a dignified life, and use one’s potentialities to the maximum. Through a strong balanced human foundation, we are planting the seed of a future civilization where peace and love prevail. We start from Egypt, aiming to spread this spirit to the whole globe. My presentation focuses on the varieties of work that The Human Foundation has launched to turn our vision to actions.
Through Be Yourself project with its multi programs, people are educated to explore their genuine personality, and contribute positively to their social and natural environment. The children and youth special programs, cultivates their given traits, and expose them to wider views of the world through gathering stories from different cultures. We aim to form a human cultural immune system that resists prejudice, hatred, and gender imbalance.
Through Authenticity and Continuity (Asl Wa Wasl) project,: The project envisions that a well established awareness among Egyptians and citizens of the world to our common root of civilizations enable us get closer in peaceful relationship and to collaborate for the well being of humankind as a whole.
The Oneness of Humanity project starts by educating the public through systematic lectures which deal with Islam and the world, aiming at changing the dogmatic approach that create unnecessary enmity against other creeds. Islam as a religion of mercy and compassion include – not exclude – peoples from other creed, it embraces them with love and appreciation, and respects diversities. Muslims need to view their religion from that perspective.
