My passion in life, and how it connects to the theme of "The Power of Love and Compassion in Governance":

For me it’s not only “what” we do but “how” we can do things better that motivates me. I follow a simple equation with my work: People + Process = Outcomes. 

I am passionate about inspiring others for positive change that will enable connection, compassion and personal accountability. In the business context, I do this through change management, coaching, process improvement, information systems and leadership development.

We are so connected in the world through the power of technology, but equally through physical and emotional energy. However, throughout the years I have observed a disheartening proportion of focus on the technical aspects of growth at the cost of compassion, values and interpersonal connectivity. My personal commitment is to help reconnect people and processes holistically to perform most effectively, through improvements at both individual and business system levels to ensure that positive and transformative change and sustainability occurs.

I love seeing individuals and business perform effectively and in alignment, because when this occurs there is a noticeable energy of calm, care and forward movement which seems to embrace respect  and guide decision making through “effective processing” for all people and groups involved.

In today’s fast-paced and ever-changing world, we all need to get better at this “effective processing”, and I look forward to further exploring the potential of love and compassion in bringing about such change.
